  • Restored and replicated existing windows
  • Restored electrical service and lighting
  • Archaeologically-sensitive excavation for former
    historic Battle of Monmouth battleground
  • Removed and replaced foundation
  • Oldest standing two-story dutch-crafted house in New Jersey
  • Installation of new structural steel underframe
  • Lifted and braced the structure (hydraulic jacks and cribbing)
  • Removed and reinstalled the masonry foundation
  • Reset house on new foundation
  • New wood roof shingles and walls
  • Restored existing exterior siding
  • New timber roof framing
  • Temporary shoring to support the exterior east wall and roof
  • Protective wall to preserve the original West wall,
    which is considered an artifact
  • Project completed two months ahead of schedule
