Project Description
- The Memorial Berm: Twin stainless steel walls divide a gently sloped mound and a path directed toward Ground Zero
- Two continuous twin, 30'-9" high, 208'-10" long walls flank a 12'-4 1/8" wide thermal granite path located on the centerline of the former World Trade Center tower GPS coordinates
- Concrete piles underground support two continuous concrete retaining walls and stainless steel substructure, which then support the stainless steel panels
- The 746 victims' names from the State of New Jersey face one another on the interior elevations of the twin brushed stainless steel walls
- Two marine grade stainless steel outdoor electronic kiosks containing a list and location of all of the victims' names
- Architectural concrete finish
- LED fixtures running continuously down the length of each Memorial wall
- Clusters of weeping cherry trees
