Project Description
- New high level train platform foundations
- New structural steel framing
- Construct new ADA compliant high level train platforms
- Construction on active rail line (phased work hours)
- Construct ornamental structural steel columns and beams to support roof canopies
- Ornate metal roofing on canopies
- All personnel extensively safety trained
- New site utilities, parking areas, landscaping
- Construction of a new pedestrian accessibility
- Construction of a new three-story steel-framed brick and cast stone masonry elevator structure
- All electrical work at station building, platforms, canopies, shelters, site lighting and communication work
- Historic light fixture replication
- All new electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems
- Site work including underground and viaduct utilities, curbing, walkways, plaza, and asphalt paving
- Signage installation for the entire site
- Construct new concrete stairways to passenger overhead bridge
- New concrete ramps, railings, platforms, tactile and passenger shelters
- Constructed at historic South Amboy Station
- All work performed on North Jersey Coast Line (active rail line)
